What is the Aso Design Center?

The Aso Design Center is a think tank working to strengthen ties within the Aso area and promote regional development and tourism, protect the environment and scenery, and disseminate information. It is a public interest corporation created by the investment of 3 billion yen from 12 municipalities in the former Aso-gun, and Kumamoto Prefecture, and uses the profits it obtains to conduct its activities.
